Peaches are members of the rosaceae family, like apples, strawberries, cherries and almost every other fruit in the northern hemisphere. The rose family is known to be astringent, nourishing, and very healing to internal and topical tissues.

The leaves used in tea or tincture are very soothing to the digestive tract and the nervous system. It is also cooling in nature which can help those of us whose bodies have heat intolerance in the hot summer months. It can also be applied topically to "hot" areas like stings, bites, sunburn, poison rashes, etc. It can be used internally concurrently with the topical application to help the overall effect.

Peach leaf tincture is especially useful in working with allergies, autoimmune diseases, anxiety and restlesness. Our family discoverd it while recovering from food sensitivities. It is also known to help women experiencing morning sickness.
